Jamie P.O.V.

Jamie was in bed again. Sleeping. She tossed and turned. Something was wrong she could feel it. Her body was on fire. She felt her legs being forced apart. At first she was scared, but the lust and the desire was overwhelming and not before long she was crying out as she climax to a fulfilling orgasm. Jamie opened her eyes. She had been dreaming and she had woken up when the warmth had left and the coldness had settled in. She turned round to her side and she felt the wetness between her legs, automatically she touched herself, surprised to feel that she hadn’t only dreamed of climaxing but that she had actually climaxed in reality.

Max P.O.V.

Max was sitting at his desk, in his study. The door was locked. He certainly didn’t want Jamie walking in on him. She would probably attack him again. He touched his side and winched in pain. She had kicked him hard and he could feel his body bruising. He was surfing the net. Hoping to find some type of indication of what was happening. He hadn’t known Jamie that long and then they had sex which had certainly complicated things. Especially since he didn’t even know what was going on with her, but it was scary. Very, very scary. So much so that she had attacked him twice within 24hours. Max didn’t know much but he figured something must be medically wrong with her like schizophrenia. Split personality disorder. Max typed it in. Immediately he found what he was looking for.

"Schizophrenia demonstrates a variety of symptoms, such as, headaches and body pains, loss of time, amnesia, depression, flashbacks, unexplainable phobias, sudden anger, anxiety attacks, and hallucinations." Max read aloud. He leaned back. He scrolled down, there was a lot of information and as he read on he realized that although some of the pieces did fit, others didn’t. Which therefore didn’t make any sense? In conclusion, Max decided that she wasn’t schizophrenia. He got up and started to pace in the small room. None of it fitted together. And worst of all, he had helped a murderer escape and then proceeded to sleep with her. What was he getting himself into?

"How do you know if there is black magic on you? When your sleep is disturbed and you wake up suddenly with a shortness of breath, dreaming of snakes." Max stopped reading. He printed the information and waited. He didn’t know much about black magic but it was obvious that something was very wrong. And then it hit him. He reached over and grabbed his cellphone. The battery was dead. He grunted and grabbed the cordless phone. He dialed in a number he knew off by heart. Pressing the phone close to his ear, he waited for her to answer.
"Serenity." Max started to shake. Her voice was low, soft and it vibrated through the phone and into his ear. He blushed.
"Max." she said. He couldn’t bring himself to speak, she was a High Priestess and she was the most powerful woman known to man.

"Hi Serenity, I am so sorry to bother you when you are busy but I need your help." He spoke quickly and got straight to the point.
"Max…my dear friend, I have already sent a car for you and your friend. In fact Arthur is at your door. See you soon." And with that she hung up on him. Max heard a soft knock on the front door and he rushed to it. He pulled open the door and there stood Arthur. Max pulled up his noise. What was that smell? As if Arthur had read his mind, he laughed.
"It is not me who smells like death, my friend, it is your apartment." Arthur’s voice was strong and deep. Max just stared at him. His apartment? How was that possible? He began to shiver. He had been right to think of Serenity. Max turned and made his way to the bedroom. He had to get Jamie up and dressed.

Jamie P.O.V.

Jamie was lying on the bed, shaking uncontrollably. She had gone into shock when she had figured that she had been raped by something in her sleep. The door opened suddenly and she managed to sit up. She saw the concerned look on Max’s face and she slowly got off the bed and went to him. He grabbed her roughly and kissed her hard.
"Get dressed. We are going to get help." He spoke almost harshly and then he pushed her away and left, closing the door behind him. Jamie stood there. Staring. Where were they going? And how where they going to get help? And from who? Jamie shook herself and realized that she hadn’t asked Max for a place to dry her clothes.

Going back to the bathroom she saw that they were still lying in a puddle on the floor. She groaned. What was she going to wear now? The door opened again. And Max handed her a bag and left again. She opened the bag and inside where clothes. She sighed in relief. She pulled on the jeans and slipped on the t-shirt. She put her feet into the shoes that were in the bag. They were a size to big and she wondered how he had judged. Once she was dressed she ran her fingers through her hair and pulled in up into a tight ponytail. Just as she was about to open the door, it flew open and there stood a man.

"We must leave at once." The man said. Jamie couldn’t move. She was glued to the spot. He was beautiful. He was tall and built like a warrior. He had piecing blue eyes and his hair was blacker than the night. His eyes held a hint mystery and his lips were curved into a smile. She didn’t realize she was holding her breath until she sighed. He was wearing all black. She felt her desire build as she looked at him. She couldn’t help it but suddenly images of them having sex was a so real she could feel her orgasm rising.

"Jamie, please, we must leave now." The man reached out and took her hand and pulled gently. Jamie allowed him to lead her out of the room. She felt as if she were floating and she had a very hazy vision as the man grabbed Max and led them both out the apartment, down the stairs and into the cool black night. He pulled them over to a car that was parked under a street light. Her eyes widen. It was a 2008 black runnex. Beautiful she thought. But her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the crows. She had wanted to look up but the man pushed her into the car and therefore she didn’t get her chance. The minute she was in the car, Max pulled her towards him and kissed her. She didn’t resist but she had the feeling that the man was watching in his review mirror.

The drive wasn’t a long one and once they had arrived, the man opened the door for them and they got out. Jamie’s eyes widened as she took in her surroundings. They had obviously driven straight into a garage. But the difference was that the whole room was painted in such a way that it looked like you were standing in a tropical forest. The lighting was bright enough and there was a sea breeze. Jamie shivered. It was truly beautiful. Max took her hand in his and squeezed.
"It’s just like her. Amazing." He whispered in her ear. Jamie looked up at him.
"Her?" she questioned.
"Yes. You will understand when you see her." The man gestured that they go through the door. Max tugged on her and made their way through the door. The hallway was dark. Jamie stopped. She looked both ways but there was no ending. Max turned left and started walking. She stared after him

"Jamie? Is everything alright? Remember you are safe here." The man said to her. She turned to him and lost herself yet once again in his piercing blue eyes. She took a step towards him, but instead of him allowing her too, he walked away breaking the tension between them. Jamie moaned out loud. Rejection wasn’t something nice. She followed him and soon he turned too and threw up a hand, showing her that she must go in first. It was then that she realized that they had come to a door. She peered inside and was almost blinded.

The room was painted in white, cream and a pale yellow. The ceiling was cream with white puffs of what looked like clouds. The walls were white. It looked as though someone had taken a sponge and made patterns of yellow and cream all over it. There wasn’t any windows but there wasn’t one space in the room that wasn’t lit up. Jamie looked around her. It seemed that the room was a built in a circle form but she wasn’t sure. At the far end there was what looked like a lounge area. But with cushions. Big ones, small ones. And there were candles everywhere. And just above that, were drapes. They looked like gold but she wasn’t sure. And then she saw her.

She was standing in the middle of the room wearing a white dress. It was laced with gold and she had blonde hair and blue eyes. Her eyes weren’t as piecing as the man's but it shone with honesty and love. Her smile was bright and it transformed her face into beauty. Her hair was long and a stunning color of blonde. It wasn’t washed out or anything. She wasn’t wearing any shoes but rather she had on what looked like lace draped over her feet. As Jamie stared she realized that the woman’s feet weren’t even touching the ground and that she shone. As is there was someone holding a bright light behind her?

"Hello my dear friends." Her voice was like the sea, washing over her. It was then that Jamie felt the sea breeze and the warmth of a sun. She looked around. There was no TV or radio and there wasn’t a window.
"Jamie, my name is Serenity, I am a High Priestess and I will help you heal." Jamie felt Serenity touch her shoulder and it was as if she had taken all the bad and left peace. Jamie felt calm and at ease. She smiled at her and wondered what a high priestess was.
"A High Priestess keeps the balance between good and evil and reflects on all that is good." Jamie stared. Had she wondered that thought aloud? Serenity smiled at her again and her attention shifted to Max, who stood a little to the left of her. She turned to look at him and he was smiling like an idiot.
"Max." was all she said. It looked as though they were deep in conversation but Jamie couldn’t hear a thing and she started to wonder how the other man fitted into all of this. And as if on cue Serenity spoke.
"Jamie, that man is Arthur and he is my protector and also my other half."

Jamie’s vision blurred as the jealous rage took hold of her. The minute those words had crossed Serenity’s perfect lips, Jamie felt the hatred flow out of her. Serenity eyes widened in shock but not for long because then she laughed. It was musical and Jamie was temporarily distracted. However the jealousy and hatred came back into her heart.
"Jamie, please this is a place of peace." As serenity spoke, Jamie saw Max and Arthur share amused looks which infuriated her more.
"Water, I call to thee, wash away the hatred and jealousy from my dear friend Jamie!" Serenity’s voice was filled with power and sent chills down her spine. Then she felt as if someone had dumped a bucket of water over head. Her hands went up but her hair was dry. She frowned. She looked up and this time when her eyes met with Serenity's there was no more hatred and no more jealousy. She felt happy.

"Thank you water, you may depart." Jamie’s eye widened in confusion. Had Serenity just instructed the element of water?
"Now let’s get to business and let me answer Jamie’s question first, since it has been burned into her mind. The answer to your question is yes. But not in the way you think. Your body killed your parents. Not your mind. In fact your mind is becoming something else and if we don’t stop it now, your soul will surely die." With those words Jamie fell to her knees and screamed.
