Wright filed the lawsuit Monday in a Florida court and says that she is contractually obligated to pay him on commissions for deals he says he negotiated for her through February 2008. Wright and Spears ended their professional relationship in 2003 and he claims that she stopped paying him in December 2006. Wright reportedly said, "I have a great deal of affection and empathy for her. As you know, I was a part of her career from the early days, but we have contractual disagreements that unfortunately can only be resolved in the courts, despite my wishes!"
Recently Spears was seeking to have joint custody of her children reinstated as well as to "terminate or modify" her twice-weekly random drug testing. Both requests were denied. Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline retains full physical custody of the couple’s two sons – 2-year old Sean Preston and 1-year old Jayden James. Spears has supervised visitation three times a week including one overnight visit.
Also this week financial details in the battle between Spears and Federline were released. According to the documents Spears nets approximately $735,000 a month. Some of her monthly expenditures are $102,000 on entertainment, gifts and vacations; $16,000 on clothes; $4,758 on dining; $2,500 on phone bills; $49, 267 for her mortgage payments; $6,000 on child care; and $500 on her charity, The Britney Spears Foundation. She also gives Federline $15,000 a month in child support and $20,000 for spousal support. Federline reportedly made about $500,000 in 2006, but grossed a mere $7,436 after all of his business expenses. He stands to earn more in child support if he receives permanent custody of the boys.
