Britney Spears' Son Released from Hospital

According to information posted on Britney Spears' website yesterday, her son Jayden James Federline was taken to the hospital in Mississippi on Sunday after having a severe allergic reaction to something he had eaten. The boy was released yesterday and was taken to the nearby Spears compound in Louisiana.

No further information was available at this time as to what may have caused the allergic reaction, and it's unclear whether Jayden had any pre-existing allergies to certain foods. Statistically speaking, peanuts, seafood and dairy products are the most likely culprits in this instance.

Kevin Federline is reported to have been standing by to fly to Mississippi to be with his son, and would have done so had he been required to stay another night in the hospital.

It will be interesting to see whether the cause of the allergic reaction will ever be released by the Spears family. Since Britney's father Jamie has taken control of her finances and her public relations, it seems that Britney's image has improved dramatically. How he controls the information surrounding this incident will be worth watching.
