Britney Spears: Sleeping with the Enemy?

Spears, 26, has reportedly been "dating" paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, 35. The two were spotted checking into the Le Parker Meridien Hotel in Palm Springs at 2 a.m. on January 2. Spears was sporting a black wig and dark sunglasses. Two bodyguards also followed Spears and Ghalib into the hotel. A source claims that the relationship between Spears and Ghalib is purely platonic. The source reportedly said, "There was nothing romantic going on with Adnan. She was distracted, clicking away on her PDA." They reportedly checked out of the hotel at around 7 a.m.

This is not the first time that Spears and Ghalib have been spotted together. They first met at a gas station in December when he reportedly handed her a business card. She allegedly contacted him and the two spent the night at a hotel in Beverly Hills together. The next day when he left he said nothing had happened. Ghalib said at the time, "We are just friends. She was just a little upset, pretty much about everything."

Ghalib works for an agency called FinalPixx. He did an interview with 20/20 last year and reportedly said he has made up to $200,000 year photographing Spears and all her different exploits. He also said, "I think she’s a great person. It’s unfortunate that she’s the way she is, because of the people she surrounds herself with." Now maybe he will understand what it is like for Spears being surrounded by the paparazzi all the time. Just the other day the photogs spotted Spears and Ghalib and he reportedly tried to duck away as the photogs snapped pics of the two… seems he is getting a dose of his own medicine…
