Britney Spears Regains Visitation

Troubled pop star Britney Spears reportedly regained visitation rights with her sons after losing them last Wednesday.

Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over their sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. It was reported that on October 17 Los Angeles Court Commissioner Scott Gordon stripped the Gimme More singer of her visitation rights after she was unreachable on a cell phone that she had for the sole purpose of court related issues. She was spotted driving around the San Fernando Valley on Saturday with the boys and a court appointed monitor. Attorney Anne Kiley confirmed Sunday that her visitation rights had been reinstated.

Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said Thursday that Spears was "back in compliance" with the court’s orders and that he expected her to regain visitation rights soon. It has not been reported whether or not Spears overnight visitation privileges were still in effect. On October 11, Gordon granted Spears one overnight visit a week with a court appointed monitor. With her briefly losing any and all visitation, it is not clear if the once a week overnights still stand.

Spears has leased a new home in Malibu which she will be eligible to purchase after six-months if she so desired. The seven-bedroom and five-acre property seems like more than enough room for the pop tart and her entourage. It has been reported that Federline’s issues with Spears have to do with her less than stellar mothering skills. A source close to Federline claims that after the boys are returned to him from a visit with Spears they are irritable and off their schedules. Spears has been ordered to meet with a parenting coach on a regular basis so maybe the situation will be resolved sooner rather than later.
