Britney Spears and Paris Hilton Split?

Shortly after her split from Kevin Federline, Spears became best friends forever with Paris Hilton seemingly overnight. Now it seems as if their friendship may not be so "forever." A source close to Spears said, "Britney has been told by her people that if she ever wants a comeback, she has to stay far away from Paris and start acting like an adult." Spears and Hilton were out partying every night after the Toxic singer announced her separation from Federline. They went out on the town, night after night, giggling like schoolgirls and holding hands. They even traded clothes. Hilton said of Spears, "I love her. She is the sweetest girl I know. She’s so down-to-earth. I just want her to smile and be happy." Hilton’s rep, Elliott Mintz, reportedly added that the "two extraordinarily powerful women…have become like sisters." But they both already have sisters…

Spears also made major headlines for sharing waaay too much when she was photographed on numerous occasions showing off her naughty bits and for her excessive partying. She posted a statement on her Website saying: "It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends. It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday. Every move that I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my newfound freedom a little too far. Anyway, thank god for Victoria’s Secrets’ new underwear line! I look forward to a New Year and a new me. I’m just getting started…Happy Holidays everyone! Britney."

Since then, Spears has been partying without Hilton. She has been spotted partying with her new beau J.R. Rotem. She has also hit the town wearing a see through shirt sans a bra. Maybe she has a one u8ndergarment rule…if she is wearing panties she has to lose the bra and vice versa. Whatever the case…Spears is running out of people to blame for her wild ways. She can’t blame Federline since she kicked him to the curb and now apparently Hilton has been banished to the "old best friends club." Maybe this is just the real, trashy Britney y’all!
