Britney Spears Not Suicidal

Reports that Britney Spears is on a suicide watch while at the Promises Treatment Facility are not true according to her manager Larry Rudolph.

Spears manager Rudolph addressed the rumors saying, "The story is absolutely untrue. She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better." Spears checked into the treatment facility on Wednesday evening following two weeks of erratic behavior. Her actions have caused those closest to her to fear for her and her father, Jamie, even reportedly said that she is "a very sick little girl."

Spears had checked into the facility on Tuesday before checking back out after less than a 24-hour stay. It has been reported that her estranged husband Kevin Federline and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, requested an emergency hearing allegedly to deal with custody of the couple’s children Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden James, 5 months. He reportedly agreed to cancel the hearing if Spears re-entered the rehab facility and completed the 30-45 day program. A friend of Federline’s reportedly said, "It’s not about getting the kids away from Britney. He’s just worried about making sure he can see them."

Another source claims that Federline feels as if having kids changed Spears. The source said, "He feels Britney was never the same after she had their kids. Even after their first baby, she had wild mood swings and her temper would go off at the drop of a hat." The source went on to say, "After she came home from the hospital the second time, she just seemed really unhappy all of the time. He said, ‘Nothing made her happy anymore. She was just sad or angry all the time.’" Could it be that Spears is suffering from post-partum depression? Federline reportedly visited with Spears at the rehab facility and seems genuinely concerned about her. A friend of his said, "Kevin wanted her to get help so she could be a good mother for their kids and not end up dead." Spears has been at the facility for more than 24-hour so far…maybe that is a good sign…
