Britney Spears New Beau

Hot on the heels of her split from Kevin Federline Britney Spears has reportedly moved on to a new romance.

Spears was spotted making out with a "mystery man" last week and he has now been identified as music producer Jonathan "JR’ Rotem. Spears and Rotem have been photographed a number of times since then looking more than friendly. Rotem has worked with such stars as Snoop Dogg and Rhianna in the past and is producing some tracks for Spears’ latest album Fears Within. Rotem has also produced two tracks for Spears’ estranged hubby’s debut album Playing with Fire and her new BFF Paris Hilton.

A source close to Brit said, "Britney and JR are dating…Though he did do some work for Kevin [Federline], Britney never really met him then. It was Paris who introduced them." There has been no word yet on just how serious Spears is about her new man or if it is just a fling. The Toxic singer has been partying pretty hard since her split last month from Federline. She has also been spending a lot of time with new BFF Hilton. Spears recently defended her partying by saying that she hasn’t partied in two years.

Spears announced her separation from Federline on November 7. She is seeking sole custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Federline filed his own petition on November 8 seeking sole custody of the boys and is requesting spousal support. The two were married in September or October 2004. They originally claimed announced their marriage in September 2004 but on her divorce petition she lists a marriage date of October 6, 2004. Federline has been keeping a pretty low profile since the split while Spears has been out almost every night. Wonder which lifestyle will score points with the judge!
