Lynne Spears is reportedly writing a book for Christian publisher Thomas Nelson. The book is reportedly coming out next Mother’s Day and is titled Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World. The book is reportedly Mama Spears "personal story" of how she groomed daughters Britney, 25, and Jamie Lynn, 16, into stars while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.

A spokesperson from Thomas Nelson confirmed the tell-all saying, "We’ve signed her to a deal. It’s a parenting book that’s going to have faith elements to it. I don’t think it’s totally been written yet." Lynne, 52, and Britney, 25, recently reconciled after months of being estranged. Britney reportedly stopped speaking to her mother after Lynne checked her into a rehabilitation center last February. Spears reportedly didn’t think she needed to go to rehab and still has not stopped drinking and reportedly drugging. Recently she went through a very bad time when she lost custody of her kids and contacted her mother for moral support. A source has said that the reconciliation between the two was very short lived.

Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline were in court Friday for a progress report hearing in their custody battle. As it stands now, Federline has full custody of the children – Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. Spears has monitored visitations and it is not expected that 50-50 custody would be reinstated at this time. Spears and Federline were ordered to undergo parenting classes and joint co-parenting counseling. Spears is also undergoing twice weekly random drug testing.
