Britney Spears Mom Wins Restraining Order

Lynne Spears claims that Lufti has been giving Spears drugs and basically controlling every aspect of her life. The six-page request gives a description of what was going on at Spears’ home when Lynne and a friend arrived for an intervention on January 28. She claims that Spears was acting strangely, talking like a "very young girl," and changed her clothes and her dog’s clothes "many times." She also claims that Lufti told her that he has drugged Spears, has cut her phone lines, and has removed all of her cell phone chargers.

The temporary restraining order was granted and reportedly states that Lufti is not allowed within 250 feet of Spears, her homes, the homes of her family members, or the hospital where she is currently being held. Lynne stated that Lufti told her and her friend that he grinds up Spears’ pills and puts them in her food. She also claimed that Spears and Lufti had had a fight earlier that day and he called the singer a "whore." He also reportedly said that she cared more about her current boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, than she does about her kids and that she is an "unfit mother."

Spears was taken to the UCLA Medical Center three days later and admitted to the psychiatric ward. She is currently under a 14-day "forced hold." Her father Jamie and a lawyer have reportedly been granted temporary control over Spears money and all of her affairs. Who knows what the reality of the situation is but hopefully Spears can get her life together before losing it completely…
