An emergency hearing was held Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court and Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon suspended Spears visitation until further notice. A court document was released Thursday that read, "Petitioner’s visitation with the minor children is suspended pending Petitioner’s compliance with the court orders." Nothing else was released about why her visitation rights were suspended, but sources say that Spears ex- husband Kevin Federline called the emergency hearing after the boy’s latest visit with Spears. The source said, "They came back to his house, and their eating schedule was off, their sleeping schedule was off, and they won’t listen to him, because he knows they haven’t been getting discipline at her house."

The source went on to say of Federline, "He has to start all over, getting them settled again, calm them down and reintroduce them to their normal schedules. And it’s frustrating for him. He’s been tolerating this for a long time, but he thought maybe it would get better with a monitor involved. It hasn’t." Spears and Federline were not at Wednesday’s hearing and Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, refused to comment on the proceedings.

Spears is reportedly "devastated" by the latest turn of events. A source close to the pop tart said, "She’s really upset. She just keeps saying, ‘I can’t believe this is happening.’ It’s like she just can’t accept what’s happened." Earlier this month Judge Gordon awarded Federline temporary custody of the boys. He also ruled that Spears had to get a valid California driver’s license and submit to random drug testing. Spears got her license and reportedly passed a number of drug tests. On October 11, Judge Gordon awarded Spears one weekly-supervised overnight visit with the boys. Both Spears and Federline are due in court on October 26 for another custody hearing.
