Britney Spears: Baby Name Change?

A birth certificate was filed Tuesday at the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s office officially listing Spears and Federline’s second son’s name as Jayden James Federline. Initially it was reported that the baby’s name was Sutton Pierce Federline after he was born last month. There was never any official word from Spears’ camp confirming the name Sutton Pierce or the fact that the baby was even a boy. It was briefly rumored that baby #2 was a girl. Now we can all rest a little easier now that we know that the littlest Federline is, in fact, a boy named Jayden James.

Little Jayden was born September 12 at Cedars-Sinai medical Center in Los Angeles. The actual birth certificate was reportedly signed on September 13 by Federline and can be seen in its entirety at TMZ.com. Jayden joins older brother, Sean Preston, who turned a year old four days after his baby brother was born. Hopefully Spears has learned some valuable child rearing lessons in this last year after being criticized for her parenting skills (or some would say lack there of) with Sean Preston.

As for Spears and Federline, it is rumored that the two have been spending more and more time apart, despite the fact that sources say their two-year marriage is "fine." Federline has been out and about schlepping for his debut album Playing with Fire. He has also made his television debut as a – this is a stretch – street thug on CSI and is in talks to make his big screen debut in the movie Caught on Tape. As for Spears she has been concentrating on getting back into shape and is gearing up to make a huge comeback. She has been staying in hotels and partying in Vegas while he has been making "promotional appearances." A friend of Federline’s said, "It’s still an obstacle for him to balance family and partying. Kevin’s gonna be Kevin. But Britney knows that." Oh, so that makes it all ok! In the meantime…who is taking care of the kids??
