Britney Spears in Treatment?

Lufti reportedly spoke with Barbara Walters about the Toxic singer’s "mental issues" and said that they are "treatable" Walters told her co-hosts on The View Monday about her conversation with Lufti and said, "I can’t vouch for this." She added, "He said she has been to a psychiatrist and that she, I assume, is starting some kind of treatment. She’s been having mood swings, she’s been having trouble sleeping, and also she is in touch with her mother – because we had heard she wasn’t – and her mother has been supportive of whatever Britney is going to do."

A source has said that Lynne Spears was "instrumental" in getting Britney to agree to see someone. A source close to Britney said, "She still isn’t convinced she has a mental problem. But she knows this is what she has to do to get her kids again." Lynne Spears reportedly arrived in Los Angeles Sunday night. She was along and reportedly talking on a cell phone. She has supposedly agreed to help her daughter through this difficult time.

It was recently reported that she is allowed to speak with her children Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, on the telephone but is still not allowed to see them. Commissioner Scott Gordon reportedly ruled that Spears’ visitation rights have been suspended indefinitely. The ruling was put into effect after Spears was involved in a four-hour stand-off on January 3 with the police and refused to return the boys to the custody of their father, Kevin Federline. Spears was briefly hospitalized following the incident and is now hopefully getting the help she needs.
