Britney Spears Granted Overnight Visits
It has been reported that Britney Spears attended a hearing on Thursday and was granted one weekly supervised overnight visit with her sons.

Judge Scott M. Gordon granted the pop tart one weekly overnight visit with her sons on the condition that the visit is supervised by a court-appointed monitor. This is a different ruling than he originally handed down Thursday when Spears failed to appear at the appointed court time of 8:30 a.m. She appeared at the courthouse later in the day and spoke with the judge. Allan Parachini, a court spokesman said, "Ms. Spears did speak (at the hearing) and her voice was soft and respectful."
Spears’ attorney, Sorrell Trope, said, "I consider this a very positive sign for my client. I have every expectation that she will comply with all orders made by the court. I remain absolutely optimistic that she will eventually regain 50-50 custody." Earlier yesterday attorney Anne Kiley argued that the children Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, were not benefiting from the current custody arrangements. Kiley said that each visit the boys were woken up from their 3 p.m. naps to go back to Federline. Judge Gordon agreed that the boys were not benefiting from the situation because of Spears emotional and substance abuse issues.
Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have been battling for custody of the kids since their split last November. Spears mothering capabilities have continuously been called into question with her kids finally being removed from her custody a few weeks ago. Judge Gordon called Spears a "habitual" drug and alcohol user. Spears was also ordered to undergo random twice-weekly drug testing. The court claims to have not seen any results from the drugs tests even though Spears' attorney Trope has said she has passed more than one.
