Britney Spears Gets Visitation
Troubled songstress Britney Spears has reportedly been granted visitation rights with her sons while her ex-husband retains custody for now.

On Monday Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon granted full temporary custody to Kevin Federline because Spears could not produce a valid driver’s license and failed to show up for one of her court appointed drug tests. Another hearing took place yesterday and Gordon ruled that Federline will have full custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, until further notice. Gordon granted Spears’ visitation rights with the ruling that a "court-approved monitor" must supervise the visits.
A court document from Wednesday’s hearing read, "The minor children shall remain in the custody of [Federline] with the exception of those specific dates and times as ordered by the Court…Pending the further order of the Court, all visitation shall be in the presence of a monitor. The monitor shall terminate the visitation immediately if any conduct or action by [Spears] endangers the minor children." Another hearing is set for October 26 and both Spears and Federline must be in court at that time. Before the hearing Spears must attend three counseling sessions and she is also still required to comply with the court appointed twice-weekly random drug and alcohol testing. The Court views a missed test as a failed test.
In other Spears news, her latest video "Gimme More" will debut on MTV’s TRL at 3:30 p.m. Monday. This is the first video that the singer has released in two years. The song has made a huge leap on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week when it jumped from No. 68 to No. 3. The song is also reportedly the most downloaded song on iTunes. That is some good news for a change for the troubled Spears. Her record label is hyping Spears new album, the drops November 13, saying, "We’re confident that it will secure her reputation as one of the great recording artists of her time."
