Britney Spears’ Family Feud Continues

Papa Spears, Jamie, publicly blasted his daughter’s behavior and decision to can her manager Larry Rudolph in an email to the New York Post on April 20. He called Spears "out of control" and said she "blames him [Rudolph] and her family for where she is at today with her kids and her career." Spears reportedly blames Rudolph for talking her into going into rehab and fired him on April 13. Now a source said that Spears has "cut everyone out of her life." The source continued saying of Spears, "She says she doesn’t want to see anyone from her past."

Spears’ relationship with her mother has reportedly been strained since she began dating her estranged husband, Kevin Federline, in 2004. Their relationship reportedly took a turn for the worse when Spears was in rehab. She allegedly blames her mother for giving Federline custody of her children during her stay at the Promises Treatment Facility. The source reportedly said, "She feels her mother gave Larry Rudolph power and he handed her kids over to her ex."

Now it has been rumored that Joe Simpson, father of singers Jessica and Ashlee, is looking to fill a void in Spears’ life as her manager. A source close to Simpson reports that he has tried to set up meetings with the Toxic singer. A source close to Simpson believes that he can help steer Spears’ career in the right direction. As for Spears, she says that she and her father never had a good relationship so maybe Papa Simpson would make a good surrogate.
