Britney Spears Breaks Down

The singer was reportedly running errands that included hitting Ralph’s Supermarket and Starbucks in Los Angeles yesterday. Sources say that she carried her Yorkshire terrier, London, with her and was spotted crying on and off all day. Later that day she enjoyed a dinner with her newest BFF, Sam Lufti, at Casa Escobar in Malibu. She reportedly dined on quesadillas and a mango margarita and was very polite to fans that approached her. A source said, "Some women approached her and she was very sweet to them." The witness also said, "The manager offered to sneak her out the back but she declined. She insisted on coming out the front way." Spears reportedly told the paparazzi she loved them before climbing into a waiting car and breaking down in tears again.

On Monday Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ruled that Spears failed to comply with the order to produce a valid driver’s license and for a court appointed drug test. He then granted temporary custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to ex-husband Kevin Federline. On Wednesday Spears’ attorney Sorrell Trope argued in court that Spears had complied with most of the judge’s orders including not badmouthing Federline in front of their children, not practicing corporal punishment, meeting with a parenting coach, and avoiding drugs and alcohol for at least 12 hours prior to seeing her children. Gordon ruled that the custody arrangement remains the same, but Spears was granted supervised visitation rights with a court appointed monitor.

While her personal life spins out of control she is gearing up to make a comeback. Her latest album Blackout is set to hit stores on November 13 and her single "Gimme More" is a major hit. The song is the most downloaded song on iTunes and is up to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. The video, her first in two years, is set to debut on MTV’s TRL on Monday afternoon.
