Britney’s Dad Calls Ex-Manager Lutfi a "Predator"

The drama surrounding Britney Spears continues, as her father has spoken to the media and reiterated his distaste for ex-manager Sam Lutfi, calling him a "predator."
Britney Spears’ life is so tightly controlled by her father at the moment that she’s not even allowed to make or receive phone calls if they’re not supervised. Perhaps, however, that level of control is warranted. Spears was given a pre-paid cell phone recently, and hid it from her father (Jamie Spears) and her security team. It was eventually discovered and confiscated, but it was later determined that the phone got to Spears – through a series of intermediaries – from ex-manager Sam Lutfi. It is specifically Lutfi, along with Spears’ ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, whom Jamie Spears wishes to keep away from his daughter.

Speaking of Lutfi, the elder Spears noted, "When [Lutfi] was in so-called control, she’d lost everything – her kids and career. I believe he’s a predator, I believe he’s very dangerous to her and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We’ve asked him to go away before, and now he’s coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone." For his part, Lutfi claims that he has indeed left Spears alone, but that the 27-year-old pop singer is actually reaching out to him, sending text messages despite a court order prohibiting it.

Jamie, however, testified about various text messages which he referred to as "threatening" that came from someone using the screen name "citygalin310." Lutfi denied that he used such a screen name, but Jamie Spears indicated that he was "100 percent" certain that the messages came from Lutfi. About 15 minutes after the text messages came in, Lutfi called Jamie. Said the elder Spears, "He began to cry and he basically fell apart on the phone. He went on and on. He said he knew what was wrong with Britney."
