Brigitte Nielsen Out of Rehab
Actress and reality television star Brigitte Nielsen has recently checked out of rehab for alcohol addiction and says she has never felt better.

Nielsen was at a roast for her ex-beau, Flavor Flav, on Sunday and reportedly told People it was the first time she has been sober on a show in three-years. The roast is set to air on Comedy Central on August 12 and Nielsen was among those roasting the Flavor of Love star. Nielsen said, "I'm feeling good. I feel like a newborn person. I just came out of rehab. I made a choice about a new life. It's not been easy but it was definitely time." She said she was nervous about doing the show and told the audience she was happy to be out of rehab.
It was only announced last week that Nielsen was in rehab, but she had checked into North Hollywood’s Cri-Help treatment facility on July 9. The 44-year old reportedly decided to check into the facility after an intervention from her family. A source said, "It took an ultimatum from her family to get through to Brigitte – either she gets help or she loses her loved ones support." Nielsen reportedly said, "It has to do with your family. It has to do with business. It was to do with your friends, who are honest with you. So you know maybe it's time to change – and that's exactly what I did. I cannot thank God more."
Nielsen’s manager Steven Tempone said, "I wish her the best of luck. "She has been a dear friend of mine for over 20 years. This was a decision she made on her own, and I love her and I am glad she’s getting help." Nielsen has reportedly been sober for 20 days and hopes to remain that way. She says her next step is to get back into shape by going to the gym. Nielsen married bartender Mattia Dessi, 28, on July 8, 2006. This was her fifth marriage. Most recently Nielsen appeared on Vh1’s The Surreal Life: Fame Games.
