Bridget Moynahan’s Name Snub

Moynahan, 36, and Brady, 30, dated for almost three-years before announcing their split last December. Shortly after their split was announce Brady began dating supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 27. In February, Moynahan announced her pregnancy and that the New England Patriots quarterback was the baby’s father. The baby boy was born August 22 and two days later during a game against the Carolina Panthers the game announcers congratulated Brady on the birth of his son, Jonathan Brady Moynahan.

Not so much. The actresses’ rep released a statement announcing the baby’s official name of John Edward Thomas Moynahan. Her rep also said, "She is thankful for a healthy baby and is excited about being a mother." Her rep went on to say that Moynahan "was very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth and to spend a few days with their new child."

Moynahan could be just a little bit bitter about the fact that Brady moved on so quickly. It was reported that Moynahan let Brady find out about her pregnancy from the media rather than telling him herself. At the time a pal of Brady’s said, "He’s disappointed this is how she’s decided to play it. She announced it to make him look like a jerk." Now with the name snub…this just might be her little way of getting back at the quarterback. She can be seen on the big screen later this year in the dark comedy Noise. Brady is gearing up for this year’s football season.
