• Dig out an area of about 4"x4". Align 6 inches wooden forms to cover all the sides of that square.
• Now fill the hole with approximately 3 inches of mixed cement.
• The base is ready, now give it a slope from the back of the fireplace to the front side.
• Let the cement dry out completely for a day or two.
• Make a wooden frame of three 2x4 sizes wooden forms. Attach them with each other using a nail gun.
• The bricks must be placed on the outdoor fireplace mantel.
• Fix the bricks with the help of the mortar.
• Make a plywood frame to fit into the firebox. Close the base of the frame with two 2x4 frames.
• Spray thorough water on the bricks before a day of installation. Arrange the bricks in the bottom of the fireplace without any trench mortar.
• Trace a layout of the outsides of the bricks. Now remove the bricks and fill the inside of the tracing with a layer of mortar.
• Place the bricks again on the mortar, beginning from the corner, build up the walls of your desired height.
• Fill each layer of the bricks and remaining blank spaces, with ½ inch of mortar.
• Bind a piece of stainless steel sheet on the top of the wall, to cover the fireplace.
• Cover the steel sheet with the mortar and again put bricks and tap them with delicate hand. Let the mortar dry completely, and then start your fireplace for use.

The chimney is not necessary if you are planning to burn only charcoals. If and only if you are planning to burn wood as a fuel, then such fireplace must have a chimney at its top. This chimney need be covered with a cap to keep the fireplace safe from the outer water and snow during the winter.
