Breakup

Breakup.
You gave me hope.
You showed me my dreams.
You take them away just to hear my screams.
Now I lay as ice that's frozen.
Slowed by the words from fangs doth poison.

Long we sat and none was said.
I lean to kiss and you turned head.
Soon my heart will turn like yours.
Cold and hard like winters stone.
Then were back to words once uttered.

Best I'm sorry the first things muttered.
Quarrels and damages are left to the past.
But Over stretched covers the hiding won't last.
A lover lost a new friend gained.
Not for long your words are stained.

From green to red without warning.
It's been a three weeks, though I'm still mourning.
Because of you I lost all will.
You spoke the words were meant to kill.
Now I lay face down and dead.
As thoughts of you escape my head.
