The following article suggests some useful breakup advice for men, which will help them to cope up with the loss of a relationship. Read on...

Re-Think
If your breakup was over some petty relationship issue or something which you feel does not matter in the long run, I would suggest that you think things over once again. If you feel somewhere deep inside that things can be worked out, try to get in touch with your ex for a talk.
Try to Make Things Work
If your ex has agreed to meet up with you, consider it a positive sign. Even if you are not in a relationship, you two can always be friends. Once you two meet up, try to analyze the relationship. See what went wrong and whether things can be corrected. This however no way means that you have to bend backwards to please and get ex back. Only if both of you are willing to change and work things out, should you consider being together again.
Stay in the Company of Family and Friends
Things may work out or may not work out with your ex, however when you are going through this phase and getting over a breakup, make sure that you do not spend your evenings or weekends alone. Go out with your friends. Socialize a lot. Spend the weekends with your family. If you are really close to someone like a friend or a sibling, share whatever you are going through to unburden yourself.
Take Up a Hobby
Always keep your mind engaged in other things rather than just thinking about the relationship and what went wrong. So, take up singing or dancing or try adventure sports. Do something that you have never done before. In short, utilize your free time productively so that at the end of the day you feel satisfied and happy about doing something unique.
Date Again
Yes! It really helps. Go right out there and start seeing women. You do not need to be in a serious relationship at this point of time. Still, you can always have a lot of fun by dating a variety of women. You never know, may be while dating you meet the woman of your dreams.
Re-Invent Yourself
Do things that build your confidence again. A breakup can make you feel rejected, down and low on confidence like no other thing can. At this point of time, doing small things such as changing your hair style or shopping for a new wardrobe can do wonders for your self-esteem.
Here's hoping that equipped with these tips you will be able to overcome any negative feelings or thoughts that you might be experiencing. In the end, it is important that whatever happens between you and your ex, always end things on a respectful note. If the breakup is initiated by you, always tell the woman in person rather than on e-mail or sms. Tell the girl you are involved with, first about the breakup rather than have her hear it from any of your common friends. In short, be respectful of your ex. At the same time, keep yourself engaged and in the company of positive people so that you can sail through this low phase of life!
