Braided Hair
There are many different types of braided hair styles for women, men, and kids that make a person look different...

Hair Braiding Basics
If you are thinking of French braiding hair, you simply need to know that it is a very easy process. At the start, you might find it difficult, but after some practice you will get it. Before you start with the braiding, you need to make sure that the hair is clean and does not have any kind of tangles and knots. The hair becomes easier to be plaited if it is of equal length.
The first step is to gather all hair behind the head, and make a bunch. Then, you would be required to make three sections of the hair by dividing the bunch. After doing so, hold the right section in the right hand, the left section in the left, and keep the middle section relaxed.
Now, with holding the right hair section in the right hand, hold the middle section with the right hand. You then need to take the right section over the middle one and hold the middle section in your right hand. This will make the right section the middle one. After doing so, hold the current middle section with the left hand, and take the left section over the middle one.
Do the same step with the right hand. Follow this step until the complete plait is formed. Remember that each time you cross a section over the other, you should give the hair a gentle tug, so as to set the braid properly without getting loose. When there is little hair left at the end, tie it with a rubber band.
Types of Braided Hair Styles
There are many designs that can be made using the above mentioned basic procedure of plaiting hair. Braids can be made on short hair as well as long hair. Micro braid hairstyles are one of the most popular among women. It consists of few, small hair sections braided in many individual sections to form plaits. If you have long hair and have micro-braided it, you can even wear beads at the end of the braids. Furthermore, you can do several variations to normal braided or micro braided hair, such as Herringbone braids, Chinese braided updo, Avalon braids, Legolas braids, Victorian updo, Rope braids, Arwen braids, and many more.
As there is a wide range of options for braided hairstyles, you can wear different ones for different occasions. Today, braids are even being worn by famous sportsmen and men celebrities. As a result, braided hair styles for men are so much in vogue.
