Bored Of Giving and Receiving the Same Gifts? Personalise it!

Bored of giving and receiving the same old gifts year in year out? Then personalize it for heavens sake! Whether you are looking to buy a wedding gift, anniversary gift or christening gift this year make the extra effort to personalize the gift which will make it more meaningful and a cherished keepsake.
Right then, Christmas is out of the way and Santa Claus whoever he is as promptly climbed his way back up the chimney and merrily whizzed around the world and delivered all of those exciting gifts. The thing is this bloated fellow is more interested in our mince pies, cookies and milk our kids are leaving for them than thinking of something different and unusual as a gift.

For heavens sake how many pairs of socks do I need, I must have a billion pairs in the short amount of time I have spent on this earth. In fact I now have enough socks to last me a 10 lifetimes.

Next time Santa pops his little head down the chimney I will pull out my chimney sweep, rigorously push the bloater back from where he came and light the fire... bah humbug. And as for the reindeers I will be will be peeling the carrots and slicing the sprouts a day and pushing the turkey to one side… that rather splendid red nose will look quite appealing next to some cranberry sauce!

We'll on the other hand if our bearded friend just spent a little bit more time reading his wish lists he may of realised that most people would like something unusual, a surprise would be nice. So this year Santa if you are reading this article please can you send me something with a bit more meaning?.

Next on the list, Christening gifts! How many times have you purchased a gift for a christening only to find that your auntie, brother, uncle, cousin and just about every relative has bought the same gift as everyone else? What on earth are the parents of the new born baby going to do with half a ton of silver spoons and money boxes, melt them down probably and pay of the mortgage probably.

There is one way to avoid this unnecessary melting down of newly purchased shiny silver christening gift... personalize it! If you take the trouble buying a personalized gift and engraving a special message, no matter how meaningful, cute or embarrassing this is, it's not going to be duplicated and as a result isn't going to be chucked in the bin.

With Valentines day just around the corner, it is almost expected of you to buy chocolates and flowers. Twelve red roses to be precise and a box of the same branded chocolate you bought last year, you may as well just buy a bunch of plastic flowers and reuse them the following year like Christmas decorations.

There are absolutely tons of gift ideas to make Valentines Day more romantic. Why not personalise some champagne glasses or spend a few more pounds and get the champagne bottle engraved as well. Just imagine their surprise when you pull out this wonderfully thought out gift this year, they will probably fall of the chair and need resuscitating.

As you can see I am a softy at heart, even in my worst nightmares I wouldn't dream of boiling up our red nose reindeer friend or buying my wife a bunch of plastic flowers this year for Valentines Day... but for crying out loud would everyone make the effort this year and buy a unique and unusual gift for that next special occasion or milestone so that we can all have something to look forward to. So take my advice and on your next purchase buy your love one a personalised gift.
