Book 1 Ninja Clan Chapter - 2

I have not yet given this character of mine a name yet. He's not Meed but the narrator talking about his adventures as he goes looking for his father.
I will be coming up with a name soon within the story so please bear with me. I have no clue yet what to name the narrator of the story. Thanks for the comments for those that leave them and the numbers in the polls. Enjoy the next paragraph. Sorry about the grammar errors. I am not good at grammar.

Day 5 Toughen Up I was inside a room when I awoke. There beside my bed there was a glass of cold ice water. There was also a couple of sandwiches. There on the top of the night stand was a piece of paper. I picked it up and read what it said. (Eat and Drink then try to move. We need to head to your baseball game if you can make it). I put the note down and sighed and then drink and ate as I was told to do on the paper. I did not think that Meed had any clue what I was capable of. I had no clue how to make the pain in my leg and arm go away. I also didn't know how Meed had carried me to my room. I had been stuck in this house with my wacky grandmother who was living here under my father's roof since last June. This house was a disaster and she had no way of getting to and from the hospital. Not without taking a stupid cabby from here to the hospital and being pampered along the way by some crazy lunatic.

I knew him he was my uncle and had a taxi cab business. My grandmother had free rides of course. Well that was what she told me, and my uncle came around once in a blue moon to give me some shoes for my baseball games. Meed was not going to be there at my baseball game tomorrow I am sure of it. He was not going because I was not going to be there either. I was told by my father sometime after my mother had passed away to stop my crying and toughen up. I have never been so sure of myself as I am right now. My family was a golden age people. Meaning that they had always been mean and tough even if a family member had died. They had family values and wanted what's best for their children. The families that had made it through the hard times of the past nightmares of war between the dark clans and the aged clans, had been the only thing my father had gone through. Toughen up!! What was my father thinking now as he sat in his simple life of hell. My hell is only because of him being gone.

Day 6 Meed's Challenge The swarm of ninja clansmen went in a circle around Meed. Those that harbored death threats to Meed many times. These clansmen were not of the ones that were with my father. He stood there looking at one of the clansmen with great intensity. That clansmen was of black hair and pale skin. He was always with a smirk on his face since a great swordsmen attacked him and his family trying to kill him. Don't blame the guy for trying. This mean looking pale faced guy wouldn't care less if all of these families here in Deadwood ended up dead with their faces in the dirt. And that scar upon his face happen to be from the guy who attacked him. Leaving him with a gift. That is what Meed had called it. Meed stood there with his sword at the ready. The circle of men came one at a time and all of them went down by Meeds sword. One of the clans men's sword made its mark and hit Meed in the shoulder cutting him pretty deep. Blood poured on the ground where he stood.

The pale faced clansmen had a name but never gave it to anyone. With all but the pale faced clansmen alive. He stood there with his sword towards Meed. Taking one step backwards. He leaped into the air and vanished among one of the buildings that was there. Bleeding and angry that Meed had been attacked. Meed stood there with his bloodied shoulder. He looked around and sees me standing there watching him. He motions for me to come forward. This was of course one of the times that he had told me never to be around if anything happened to him. He was not angry with me but with those men who had tried to kill him. The pale face man was Meeds childhood friend. They had been friends for many years growing up and learning the ways of the ninja warrior. They both had fought together as well. Until one day their friendship was at a standstill. This challenge made Meed say out loud his frustrations of his time with this pale faced man. I had asked what the guys name was but never was told. Meed had said that his name was of no importance.

And that I should stay out of harms way since I had not been taught to fight as the way of the ninja warrior. That had been Meeds challenge and he had stood the test of time. He was showing me how to be the best ninja warrior in Deadwood. I was to stop the calamity of death among the people of Deadwood and Meed was to help bring my father back alive. It was going to be a measure of faith on my part. And dedication towards my training. Meeds life had strained from his ways of the ninja long ago. When we were just little kids he had started to learn of the ways of the ninja warrior by his master. His master had taught him wisdom and peaceful ways of fighting. But Meed had lost that battle within him and started to fight with anger. This one guy who had fled had been gone for many years now. And with the city undergoing some changes. Meed had been met with the challenges of life. Soon those challenges would change Meeds thinking about Deadwood, and put his life in danger all over again.
