Bond, James Bond!

The Name is Bond, James Bond! Whoa! This one statement can sweep me off my feet, like nobody's business. The world has seen 6 bonds. And Boy! Were they men to die for!

Now, I know I am no expert, but I am a woman, hence, commenting on men is a natural skill. Anyways, the point I wanted to make, is that out of all the 6 James Bonds, 2 are brilliant. Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnon. Both brought on the screen something that the others couldn't, in my opinion.

Connery was the first man to play Bond. And I think, he did the most movies as Bond. He was suave, sassy, sexy and smart. Not to forget, he portrayed the role in a way that made this Adonis of a character, become believable. His personality was that of a man who could not be messed with. The thorough bred ladies man and oh so yummy Connery could make any woman melt in his arms!!

Now, we come to mon cher, Pierce Brosnon. Out of the two, Brosnon is my personal favorite. He is so nonchalant about his abilities, a true secret agent. Lets face it, he was so smooth, that he did not even need to make an attempt to get the women out of their clothes. There was something about the way he said "One Martini, Shaken, not stirred", it gives an instant high!

I don't know if the flavor lies in the character or the man who plays the character, but the added spice is surely the actor. Now, it lies upon this actor's wonderful strong shoulders to do justice to a character that can, indeed, give the actor an identity. I mean, can you think of Connery, Brosnon, Craig or Moore as anyone before you think of them as Bond?

This way or that, whichever actor you appreciated more, I think, it is impossible for anyone to ignore them. And lets not forget, the icing on the cake- The Bond Girls. They surely add a little tadka (taste) to the Bond Flicks.
