Bodyguard - Chapter 4

Another new chapter to bodyguard, thanks to the help of Schy Violet :)
After Zuko and I had our, "fun" Zuko decided to have a night on the town. We were leaving tomorrow afternoon to go back to the Fire Nation. I agreed and hurried to get ready. Zuko rose from the bed and grabbed his robe off the floor. I walked into the bathroom and began to put make-up on my face. Zuko grabbed both of his boots and sat on the bed to put them on. He stopped and looked into the bathroom.

"Why are you putting make-up on?" He asked me with a puzzled look.
I stopped and walked to the bathroom doorway. "We are going out on the town right?" He nodded and slipped on his boot. "Well we are going out in public right?" He nodded again and put on his last boot. "Well, I wanna look good around other people." He stood up and walked over to me. He placed his hands on my hips and looked me straight in the eyes.

"You don't need make-up to look pretty. You look pretty without it." He whispered. My heart skipped a beat.
I was a total melt for all the gooey lovey dovey stuff. He kissed me on the lips. "I'm gonna go grab something out of the safe while you put your make-up on and get ready."
"Okay." I smiled. I rustled his hair with my fingers. "You may wanna comb your hair, you got bed head."

He patted his hair and smiled. "Oh." He walked over to the dresser for his comb. I walked back into the bathroom and finished putting on my make-up. I took one last look at myself in the mirror and walked over to our closet.
I picked out an off the shoulder black dress that came down to my knees. Around the waist was a red stripe. I slid on the dress and let my black hair down.
Zuko walked in and I turned around. He smiled, "Beautiful, but your forgetting something." I was wearing shoes, I had everything.

"What?"
He walked behind me and placed a necklace on my neck. He clasped the necklace on and pulled my hair out so the necklace rested bare on the back of my neck. The necklace was the one he had given me on our first date. It was a sliver heart with a Z in the middle. The Z was made of red and black gems. I put my hand on the heart and turned to face him.
"I was gonna wear it, but I couldn't find it." I sighed.
He scratched the back of his head. "I kinda had it in my pocket." He smiled innocently.
"I was so afraid that I had lost it." I started to cry in happiness, I was so happy that it was safely around my neck. Zuko wiped my tear away.

"You won't loose it. I know it means so much to you." He smiled. " Does this mean I get a reward?" She looked deep into his golden eyes. She saw only the love he had for her. No regrets. It was like an old time movie player playing the greatest memories. The classroom make out, standing up to Zuko's father, Turtle duck pond feeding, Keeping up the tent in Keya's backyard, And every single rose, kiss, and hug.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and they swayed back and forth. It didn't matter that there was no music. Hell, if she wanted he would make his own music. She leaned in and kissed him. It was about two minutes when she realized they were on the bed he was on top of her and taking his shirt off cause he was getting hot. Boy, was I lucky he's a fire bender so he got hot a lot.
"I love you, Keyarra Rimes." He said as I pulled away to breathe.
"I love you too zu-zu." I said as he stood up and put his jacket back on.
"You almost ready." He asked as he handed me my other heel. I nodded i needed. He grabbed my hand, spun me around, and opened the door. To bad I had no idea where we were going. "Hey Zu-Zu?" I said as he was locking the door to the summer home.

He spun around and faced me. "Yes baby?"
"Where are we going?"
"Oh, just a night on the town." He cocked a devilish grin that meant he was up to something.
"Let me guess, another surprise?" I put my hands on my hips.
"Yup, cause I know how much you like surprises." He said putting his arm through mine and leading me off the porch. The streetlights were on and the street was bare. A cold chill ran up my spine, remembering last night at the cemetery, how eerie everything was. The light coming from the streetlights seemed to glow onto the pavement. Zuko and I walked in unison down the empty street towards the Center Ring of Ba Sing Se. Birds flew overhead. I looked up and gazed at the stars starting to come out. I let Zuko lead me as I stared at the white specks of light in the darkening sky. Zuko squeezed my arm and I looked back down to him. He had stopped in front of a nightclub. I looked at him and then at my high heels.

"Really?" I asked.
"Not yet, but after we eat, I wanna dance." He smiled. This boy loved to dance and I wasn't gonna stop him.
Thing is, I'm not that big of a dancer. I used to do a little dancing gig for a king a while back but I used bending. It wasn't waterbending or earthbending either.
"I'm not a good dancer." I said plainly.
"Baby, don't lie to me. We both know that dancing is in your blood. You were a born dancer, just like Aang."

He smiled. "You're a better dancer than me, your so," he paused "light on your feet."
"I don't want people knowing that I'm,"
He stopped me by putting his finger to my lips. "They ain't gonna know." He smiled and nudged me forward.
"Can I know where we are eating?"
"Nope." He smiled widely. I sighed. I didn't like surprises, but with him, I was beginning to love them.
