Body Language – How You Know Your Date Fancies You – Part 2

Basic body language and what it means we have covered in part 1 of this article. In this part we will look at the intimate gestures that not only show your date likes you they like you a lot!

So for both men and women see what body langauage indicates serious interest below:

Men Initial Signs

This will take the form of:

Will generally take the form of trying to sit or stand taller - Stomach being pulled in, pushing shoulders back, and pushing out of the chest.

He will also turn towards you. If you're in a group of people his interest in you will be shown by his feet position.

If they are pointing in your direction it's a good sign.
Key signs he's interested
Placing his thumbs in his belt this indicates that is he is staking teritory and by highlighting the genitals showing that he is sexually interested.

Holding Eye Contact

Holding your gaze for just a split second longer than is really necessary, combined with dilation of the pupils, means he is seriously interested in you.

Intimate Eye Contact

Look out for the eyes becoming intimate interms of eye contact which can lead on from the above:

Eye to eye contact is firmly made, then the eyes go down to the the mouth and follow down the rest of the body and back up to the eyes. It takes a while and is very obvious.

This is a clear sign you are being checked out and he likes what he sees!

Hands on hips

Hands on hips is done to make him appear bigger and to show readiness for involvement! This is sure sign that he is interested in you

Women Initial Signs

Women use some of the same signs and some that are exclusive. Here are the main signs to look for

Toss of the head

Women will do this and show off her neck and it’s an extremely friendly sign and says he look at me.

Used a lot with long hair but can still get attention when used by women with short hair to. Hair Fiddling is also common, generally a women may play with her hair to make you look at what their doing and look at them.

Hands

If a woman is relaxed in your company, she will expose the inside of her wrists and palms of her hands whilst talking to you.

This is a gentle gesutre to say I am intrested in you and want to communicate.

Intimate Eyes

Look out for the eyes following the same pattern as it does with men.

Watch the Knees & Legs

When sitting down a women will have one knee is bent to allow the foot to be tucked under the opposite thigh.

The knee point will be aimed at you and it is a very relaxed position and shows she is comfortable and interested in you and wants your full attention.

Many women will use a more pronounced version which definetly shows interest.

This one could really be termed the "Sharon Stone Pose" and was used to great effect in Basic Instinct.

With one leg pressed against the other tightly she will then combine this with the placing of one hand on her thigh and move it drawing your gaze down.

This position of the hand on the thigh is a serious I am intrested in you and want to get to know you better.

Watch The Foot

Watch the foot closely many women love heels, it’s a sign of feminity, sexsuality.

Watch for the following:

A woman crosses her legs and moves her shoe towards you so you have to look at it.

She may go further and let her shoe on the top leg hang off her foot and starts playing with it. This means she is seriously wanting a reaction from you !

Finally

As with all animals in the animal kingdom there are certain signs we give with our bodies to attract and try and interest the opposite sex and the ones above if you look for them will tell if the person with you is interested in getting to know you better.
