Boa Constrictors

Boa constrictors with the markedly hypnotic patterns on their skins are one of nature's beauties, on whom extinction is being imposed by way of illegal wildlife trade and for their ornate skins. They're mostly nocturnal and bask in the lazy warmth of the sun in the day. They prefer being on dry land and stay in hollows of logs and abandoned burrows in tropical Central and South America. Squeezing and suffocating their prey to death by wrapping their strong, muscular bodies, boas eat anything they catch including monkeys, birds and pigs and have jaws massive enough to swallow their prey whole.
