BlueAnt V1 - The Bluetooth Headset that Talks Back
The BlueAnt V1 Voice-Controlled Bluetooth Headset is the world’s first talking headset, using the BlueGenie voice user interface to let the wearer control all functions by just speaking. The truly innovative feature of the BlueAnt V1 is that the headset will respond and talk back. No need to read the user manual to start using the device, simply speak "What can I say?" and it will tell you a list of commands it recognizes. This feature alone makes the headset stand out from the crowd by making it one of the easiest headsets to use.
The BlueAnt V1 comes pre-configured with a speed dial setting for the new Google 411 information service as well as the ability to define your own. It comes with the following speed dial presets:
1 - Voicemail
2 - Home
3 - Office
4 - Favorite
5 - Google 411
Answering a call couldn’t be easier, the headset will announce the caller by name or number (if not in your phonebook) and you can simply say "Answer" to accept the call, or "Ignore" to reject.
The often confusing task of pairing (getting the headset to connect to your phone) is handled elegantly by the BlueAnt V1. Just say, "Pair Me" and the voice will guide you through the process. They’ve thought of everything, there’s even a "Check Battery" voice command to ensure true hands-free operation.
Aside from the excellent voice command features, the headset is very well designed featuring dual microphones and voice isolation technology that really works. The sound quality is excellent on both ends of the call. "I have owned the V1 for a week now. I work as a paramedic on an ambulance and have to make calls sometimes when we are running lights and siren. These ambulances are noisy, but I have no problem hearing the caller and the caller can hear me" explains one of our many satisfied customers.
The BlueAnt V1 features the latest Bluetooth 2.1 technology including multi-point connectivity, allowing you to connect the device to up to 8 different devices. The firmware can be upgraded via USB using the provided USB charging cable. The package itself includes a translucent ear hook which can be switched for either left or right ear wear, a car and home charger adapter, and various size ear gels to accommodate for different size ears.
BlueAnt has developed a real winner here with the BlueAnt V1, and it delivers on the promise of true hands-free operation by using their patented voice control interface. Look for the BlueAnt V1 Voice-Controlled Bluetooth Headset at Blue-Devices.com, your source for the latest Bluetooth Devices.
