Blue

A poem by D
Blue
BLUE

Bright Blue, brilliant azure,
Almond tear drops bearing tiny, shiny charcoal spots (like rare blue diamonds carrying specks of mother coal)
Cobalt Blue
Late blue, glistening with wine,
Translucent blue glaciers in the arctic midnight sun, projecting rays of infinite warmth
gazing into mine from four inches away.

Bold Blue, bouncing.
Swinging, laughing Blue

Blazing Blue-Violet ignited jet flames carve holographic mirages of the future into darkened, diabolical images of doubt.

Cosmetic glitter bows humbly above each sparkling butterfly blue
And feathered peacock electric blue.

Skylie Blue, lazy poolside reflections of a smiling sun
Giving birth to a sibling daughter, dreaming

Shattered shards, fractured with a bony hand
Ground fine – blue dust covers
EVERYTHING
