With a smash of carefully painted wood, Stefany heard the door being splintered. She also heard a low hiss coming from James' throat.
"You're a-" Suddenly James pounced like a
cat on their attacker. The sounds of hisses and long claws filled the air. James was unrepentantly quick making the vamp knock into the ground. He then ran back to her.
"Do you trust me?"
"You just saved my life."
James grabbed her wrist and Stefany felt an electric shock before being sucked to a place she knew by heart. Her city.
