Blood Years (Prt 2)
Stefany has given up her popular graffiti street art to start a new life, but when a vampire obsessed stranger comes knocking at her door she realizes her art may unlock a secret hidden deep within the city's underground streets and herself.
"The vampires?" Stefany said unbelievingly.
"Yes the vampires. Who else will want your graffiti all over the city?"
James looked at her still bound hand and foot. He walked up to her and untied her hands first, but she balled up her fist and punched him to the floor. When he got up he saw she was jumping to the kitchen. He leaped forward and tackled her to the floor. They both fell with a thud. She struggled but he pinned her underneath him. She was out of breath from fighting.
"Stefany! You need to listen to me!" Seeing her strange look on her face he asked, "What are you staring at?"
"You're not breathing." she whispered.
He looked at her and started speaking. "We need to get you to the city. Or else they will come over here and drain you into submission. They have left you alone for all these years because of your mother. Now that you left they want you back and I'm the only one that can help you."
"My mother? What do they, or you for that matter, know about my mother? She's dead."
"Did you know she headed the vampire nation as queen for over a hundred years?" James said.
"Impossible! I would have known if I were a vampire, duh."
"Actually no you wouldn't. You still have to undergo the change. If the vampires get to you they will-" James was cut off.
"You still haven't told me what exactly the vamps want with me yet!"
"They want you of course. You are key to a prophecy that will change the vampire world as they know it."
James looked up and saw what he hoped would not track him. A vampire lord. "Great." He muttered sliding Stefany behind him.
