Blood Feud and Fierce Enemies, Chap 21
MJ's life has been hard, to say the least. Her best friend abandoned her, her boyfriend beats her, and her parents are never there. When an old childhood friend comes back, what is she going to do when they have different feelings for each other.

Tavita-Nah, it's just a medicine bottle messup. :) All better now!
Paige-I think I was a cat in kindergarten. I know several people who have cat ears (they loves them the anime) so it's normal. One of my friends was a Chashire Cat, tail and all. We finally got a day off, so no crap from school today. I had just watched "Death at a Funeral" or something like that when I was writing, so I got some of the stuff from that. Thanks 4 commenting!

My head hurt like hell when I woke up. I tried to remember what happened...
Blank, nothing, zero.
Crap, did I get drunk or something?
I stumbled off my bed and tried to go down the stairs. Epic fail. My foot went sideways and I was launched down about ten feet of doom.
"Razzie!" Senka yelled. He picked me up, getting hair out of my eyes. "Are you okay? Is there anything you can't move?"
Well, my ankle hurt a lot. But all in all, I was fine. A bruise or two, sure.
Senka, who was still holding me bridal style, carried me into the living room and set me on the couch next to him. I laid my head on his shoulder, trying to make the waves of pain go away.
Bela handed me a glass of water and two Advil. I took them happily, waiting for the drug to kick in. I smiled and saw Hazel walking around in circles. She only looked up to see the bottle, but otherwise her head was down the whole time.
"Razzie, we think someone intended to make you take these before you went driving," Senka said in a quiet voice. My eyes widened.
"That would have caused you abnormal hallucinations, and you probably would have..."
"Died," I finished Bela's sentence. He nodded helplessly. "Who would do that?"
"I can think of a few."
I looked up at Hazel. "Charles, possibly."
Senka shook his head. "I think it's Nereza. Charles can get way worse with his money. Ner, on the other hand, is no richer than any of us here, and can only buy this flimsy kind."
We all looked at him. "How do you know good drugs from bad drugs?" Bela asked.
Senka looked down. "I didn't exactly grow up on the right side of the tracks."
I gave him a peck on the cheek, which seemed to cheer him up. I put my head under his chin and stayed close.
"How about we just beat the shit out of both of them?" Bela asked.
"We'd provoke them. It'd only be worse," Hazel answered, still pacing.
"Haze, they sent me to the hospital and gave me drugs. Explain how it can get worse."
She looked at me. "Rape."
I looked down, memories flooding back. No, no, no. That's back then, this is now. Tom's gone. He's gone, for good.
"I think it's Nereza," Bela piped in.
I shrugged. "I guess. As long as I'm the one to beat him up, I'm fine."

I woke up with a smile. I changed into a white skirt that went about the my knees, with a dark green shirt and jacket. I put one tiny braid in the back of my hair and tied it up with a blue ribbon, then put on my usual black boots.
I was still smiling when I went down the stairs. Hazel was sipping coffee, Bela was chewing on some toast, and Senka was chugging a Mountain Dew. I grabbed a Dr. Pepper and warmed-up some left-over Ricearroni.
I watched Bela eat. "What?" He hissed.
"I've never seen you eat before. Its kind of revolutionary."
He rolled his eyes and took a giant bite to annoy me. I was still staring. Hazel covered my eyes with her hand.
"Nobody stares at my boyfriend except for me," she said, giggling.
"And nobody starves themselves around people, except for Bela." I took her hand off.
We finished our breakfast and loaded into Bela's SUV.

"Cover me?" I asked Neko and Senka.
"We we!" Neko giggled.
"Sure," Senka said. They exchanged glares. I tried not to smile; it was so funny about how they loathed each other's existence. It was so friggin' amusing.
We walked over to my locker. I took out my Honors Reading textbook, my binder, and folder. Neko noticed something about my wardrobe.
"Hey, you wore my necklace!" She beamed.
I looked down at the cat collar, star patterned with the moon charm. "Yep." I was also wearing Senka's guitar pick, so he couldn't complain.
Altair ran up to us. She was Hazel's younger sister, fifteen on her Freshman year. She had shin-length pink hair, dark blue eyes that she shared with her sister, along with the fair pale skin. She was extremely skin, like a little pixie.
"Hey, Tinkerbell!" I grinned.
She gave me a small smile before doubling over. "Hey, Rashel! Did you hear about...Kasanya...?"
I groaned. Kasanya was one of those people my parents had assigned as my 'friends.' She was royalty. I thought she was a whore, but her dignity was so high that she thought she was just sharing herself generously to the men of our school. What a load of bull.
"What? She screwed another teacher?" I asked, juggling with my backpack. Senka helped me.
"No, she's PREGNANT!" Altair nearly screamed. "She was testing herself this morning in the girls' bathroom. I was in one of the stall, but I raised up my legs so she wouldn't see. And she tested it and it had a little plus sign. She tried three, I think. One was a plus, one was a double line, and one said pregnant."
"Wow."
We walked through the halls, completely quiet. "So, who's the baby daddy?"
She smirked. "That's the thing, she doesn't know. She said she slept with five guys around the time she went prego."
I rolled my eyes. "Did she say any names?"
She nodded gravely. "Sven, Nereza, Samael, Posh, and Charles."
My eyes widened. Sven, Posh, and Samael were members of Bela's gang. I'd always thought Sven was gay, but I was wrong obviously. Nereza and Charles, well, you know how they are.
I sighed and heard sobbing down the hall. Kasanya was banging a locker, screaming with tears running down her face.
I looked over at her. Did I feel sorry for Kasanya? No. Not at all. Did I feel sorry for the child? Yes, my heart went out to the unborn baby. The poor, fatherless child.
I swallowed and walked on, steering clear of the water works over there. "God help the child," I murmured as I walked away.

I sat by Posh during first block. Brodi had texted me earlier, saying he was barfing. I shrugged it off and looked at the boy to my side.
He was a weird one. He had eyes that were white towards the middle, but purple on the iris (the beauty of contacts.) Then there was eyeliner that made it look like he'd been crying. His wears were pierced three times, top middle and bottom. The top and bottom were connected my a chain while the middle was a belly button ring. He was the ultimate in pale, never worked out and was skin and bones. He was naturally black hair that had blood-red highlights on both sides, while the middle black part was in a Mohawk. He wore a fishmet shirt and baggy jeans that were so long you couldn't tell if he had feet. Breaking the dress code. He had a spiked collar, and then a regular necklace with a bead in the middle. Then he wore a black glove on one hand, which led up at a fishnet armlet up the rest of his arm.
"Hey, Posh."
He looked surprised at first, then smiled slowly. "Hey, MJ."
"So, did you hear about Kasanya?"
"No..."
"I heard she was prego."
His odd eyes widened. "Seriously? That slut!" Posh eyed me suddenly. "Wait...you don't think...that I'm..." He shook his head. "That's impossible. I used protection."
I nodded. "I want to know who the baby daddy was. Sorry."
"Who else is on the list?"
"Sven, Charles, Nereza, and Samael."
He seemed to think about it. "I honestly doubt it's Ner. He always has stuff on him. He doesn't want to be a Dad anytime soon. The others, I'm not so sure. I thought Sven was gay, though."
"I know, right?" I sighed and thought about it. "Well, I'm sure as hell not talking to Charles. Ner will probably kill me, so I'll get to Sven and Samael."
Posh tilted his head to the size, giving me his customary small smile. "I bet it's Charles. Dumb bastard's always getting into shit. You know he got in the big house last week for a hit and run? Killed five people, three of them were kids. Parents paid the cops more than they needed, and he's here now."
I rolled my eyes. "What some kids would do for their kids, I'm amazed. Some are thrilling and sweet, but some are completely and utterly stupid."
Posh smiled. "I can talk to Ner, if you want."
I nodded. "Meet me at lunch?"
He crinkled his nose. "What lunch do you have?"
"Third."
"I have fourth. I'll get a bathroom pass or something."
I nodded and paid attention to the teacher up front.
