Blood Chapter 2

Dream

It was dark, all around me pitch black. A small dim light shown above me like an old light bulb, the moon. I could only see dead trees nearby. Snow meekly drifted down. I could hear people screaming for their lives. I tried to yell but nothing came out. Boom one two three four five boom. A beat kept repeating itself. Blood was spraying from different directions. My body spun around looking for something, then I stopped. A little boy sat on the ground crying. His face was bloody and he looked up at me yelling something I couldn't hear. Water dripped in the pool of water I was standing in.
I looked down, thick red blood covered my hands. I tried to clean the blood off in the water but it just stayed there. Then I realized I was the only one in the room again. To my left a dark gray cloud came shooting toward me. A girl's voice cracked through and started to giggle. It was an evil crying giggle. And I watched in the water at my feet, a girl swaying, her face smiling. Blood all over her white and black sundress, splatters on her face. Her hair was a crystal white with a hint of purple, that hung past her waist. Her eyes were a deep red with a glimpse fire. She had a strange marking on her left shoulder that went up her neck and ended at her cheek. She looked like she was enjoying herself. Her face looked terrorizing. Her arms lit up, the little boy from earlier in her arms. His body was torn into shreds, bite marks in his little neck.
The cloud turned into a bunch of night gray hands, reaching and grabbing for me. The girl dropped the boy and pointed to me. I gasped was I next? Was I supposed to take the same fate that little boy did. Cases voice shrieked through the air. I looked around frantically. "Case! What's wrong? Case!" I yelled.
My body shivered when I could no longer hear his voice. I looked back at the girl in the water; she licked her lips as blood relinquished from her mouth. My body flung up toward the end of my bed. Just a dream. I walked downstairs to find Jordan asleep on my couch. I laid a blanket over him and went back upstairs.
