Blondes In The Bus
Just say helloo...
The sun is warm, the sky is clear
The snow spreads everywhere
The pines are slender, yet so tall
They line the streets like a wall
Besides me sits two pretty blondes
They both pretend to read
But all they do is glint at me
And how could this go wrong?
I see footprints up on the hills
Of those who live in cabins
They leave their homes, spend their lives in chills
In this cold, deserted place
Hvordan går det?
Hva heter du?
These I feared to say
As we sat quietly on the double-decker bus
Bound fra Oslo til Tronheimstasjon
The river is blue and partly frozen
Oh gosh I feel the cold
There are many cabins, white, blue and brown
Scattered far away on the snow mountain top
The silence is tense, I feel its strain
Then I mustered a little courage
When I turned to say Hi,
My tummy churned, my heart did miss a beat
Oh confidence where are thou?
Why do you desert me now
Give me the will to say helloo
Before they get down at the next stop.

Besides me sits two pretty blondes
