Blogging Bug Bit Me Pt. 2

And yet again I find myself... bored, restless and itching to blog.
Dear blog diary,

I look over at my digital clock on my work desktop, and it reads 19:19 pm (sigh); I got another hour I think before I head on home. It's been a crazy day of marathon writing, and good God have I been possessed by the psycho typist today? Nonetheless, it gives me great pleasure to sit back and watch my work get published, as I try to cross my targets, so that my Christmas holidays aren't trampled upon (no offense to my office heads). Hmm, nothing lined up for tonight, except for a round of Masterchef Australia, only the most awesome cook show second to Hell's Kitchen. This coming weekend I got two movies lined up, and I'm anticipating the back-to-back Sunday morning and afternoon shows in store for me and my sister. Denzel Washington and Daniel Radcliffe will keep me busy this weekend (yeah I've read the 7 books, so don't judge me. I'm entitled to watch the movies okay dude? Hmph).

Remember that five-day holiday I mentioned in, blogging bug bit me? Well that was over and done with eons ago, and I WANT IT BACK (sigh). On second thought, I do have a whole week of fun and relaxation heading my way at the end of December, so why am I fretting again? Beats me. I think it's the overhead tube lights again (frown). Harsh I tell you! I wish, oh how I wish, we had soft yellow lights above us (sigh).

Do you ever notice, how when you make money, you aren't really spending it on yourself? It's either someone's birthday, or the holidays require that you buy goodies for the whole family - where you only enough to squeeze in a nice dress and a pair of stilettos to match (sigh). I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering how money flies out of my wallet, like time.

So anyway, my dad's been in town for a little over a week now, and stopped at 'Duty Free', to score us some 'Barcardi Gold'. Might I just add, (silly grin) - it was the best that Bacardi could offer, second to of course its flavored compadres. There's no time like 'happy hour' to bond with family and friends. It can loosen up the stiffest of men (and women). That was a nice night of meaningless jokes, and dad with his stories. The only one person I wish was sitting amongst us - was mom. I miss her and I know everyone else who knew her, do too (sigh). She's very much among us, in spirit. Until we meet again mother.

My colleague has been quite sullen for the past few hours, what with her leave being on hold and all. It's a rather long holiday getaway, so the company is keeping her in shackles, until a decision has been made. Wow, sounds like the poor thing's in prison, waiting for a verdict. Let's face it, the job's fabulous, but we have our reasons to leave for a while. Hope she makes it for the family wedding and Christmas that's fast approaching.

Well, the time seems to have slowed down now (nostrils flaring). It's mocking me, and throwing its digital self at my face (SIGH). And no, we aren't discussing my psycho pet rabbit this time. Although nothing has changed sadly.

PS: Dad got my sis Krispy Kreme donuts, and oh my goodness, it was so sinfully yum. The aftertaste still lingers (drool). Waiting to fly back home again (sad face).

Signing out,

Rabbit hater.
