Blocked

Sometimes you want someone so bad....but your heart doesn't allow anyone in anymore for the damage that, that person brought in the first time they were welcomed.
I once was your lap dog
But now I’m just a stray

My heart is on its knees
Begging you to stay

I don’t want to bother you
But I too don’t want you to go

My heart is pounding louder and louder
And it wants you to know

That if the world stops turning
And the sun stops shining

I’d never let you back into my heart
Cause of all the damage you’ve been bringing
