Blind Love

Very old story I wrote. Let me know what you think.
The aura of this place gave her little confidence of finding her way back. She was paralyzed, motionless. Her thoughts fluttered through her head, which never happened before. Her thoughts were at their peek, until she felt someone's arms wrap around her waist. Startled, she leaped and turned sharply. She couldn't believe her sparkling blue eyes. It was the whimsical boy that she utterly despised. Oh how they both loathed each other. He was an arrogant obnoxious guy who couldn't care less about anyone but himself. She glanced at him, with disinterested eyes. He profoundly looked back at her, with a fascinated expression. Nevertheless, the perpetual squabble began. He called her a fool for getting lost; she glared at him and insulted him back. The squabble proceeded on; with each insult they were drawn closer to each other. Physically and emotionally, though they were ignorant of its occurrence.

A centimeter apart, she wanted to take one more shot at him but was unsuccessful. She couldn't speak; it was as if something caught her tongue. She was almost right, realizing that he locked his lips upon hers. Her mind knew this was despicable, but her heart knew it was bound to happen. The kiss became more passionate, more intense by each passing moment; it was something they craved, for a prolonged amount of time. Slowly separating their lips from the zealous kiss. She immediately through her head down, she started to apprehend everything, but refused to look at him. Her heart began to race as she recalled what has just occurred. Her head remained down, despite how much she wanted to peer into his egotistic eyes. At that moment, she felt something cold against her skin. He gradually lifted her chin up, hoping for some sort of decipherable response. She refused to look at him, and looked off into the distance.

A gloomy, grassy field that led off into the horizon, the same sight she saw before, however this time she noticed a path. Bewildered on how she didn't notice it before, she turned her head back. He stood there, with the usual smirk he had. He put his hands on her waist and pulled her towards him. Her knees weakened, yet it was unnoticeable to him. She wanted him to speak, to say what his eyes are so utterly shouting when they ogled her. She gazed into his eyes, with an abundant about emotion. Though she couldn't stop there, to intensify the effect, she gave him the most desirable smirk she's ever used. He was astonished, unable to contain himself; he said what he longed to say. "I lov-," he stuttered, uncertain if he should proceed or not. She gradually looked down then looked up again, and gave him a smug smile. She placed her finger on his lips, as if she was saying quite.

He couldn't break the eye contact; she was just so astonishing at that moment. He locked her in an embrace; he kissed her with a grave amount of passion. She broke the kiss, and whispered into his ear "I love-," she felt him quiver suddenly from the strong emotion. She pushed him away, and began to walk off. Startled, he grabbed her arm. She stopped, but didn't turn around. He pulled her towards him with more force, yet she still didn't move. From frustration, he yanked her arm. She jumped, knocked him over and sliced his neck. Instant death, she knew that result very well. Picking herself up, she dusted off her clothes, and headed towards the horizon. "You never saw it coming," she whispered as she walked away, the body remaining in a puddle of blood.
