Bleed A Thousand Questions
For all those who read my other poems, I haven't cut for 50 days now :) Anyway I wrote this poem when I went through really depressed stage so I thought I'd just put it up to see what you guys think. Thanks for all your supportive comments on my other poems, it means the world to me to know people care. <3 And to any cutters reading, feel free to comment, I'll try my best to help you pull through this.
Pain is your commitment
Happiness is your sin
The villain is the hero
And the hero always wins.
Anger is your strength
And tears are your only friends
But you find yourself questioning
When will this all end?
Everyday you're hurting
Tears drop from your eyes
And every time you smile
It conceals a thousand lies.
Soon that pain turns into frustration
You take a deep breath and clench your fist
And run your fingers along
The veins across your wrist.
You lift up your arms
And hold yourself tight
And play with your blade
All through the night.
Welcome yourself to hell
Forget all past emotion
You know this is killing you
But you have so much devotion.
Have a blank facial expression
And put up a strong guard
The prospect of life is different now
You have to carefully play your cards.
No more happiness or joy
You stare at your murderous reflection
And as you cut away your future
You still have a thousand questions.
"When will this be over?
What did I do that made me cry?"
You still have so many questions
But your biggest one is why?
Happiness is your sin
The villain is the hero
And the hero always wins.
Anger is your strength
And tears are your only friends
But you find yourself questioning
When will this all end?
Everyday you're hurting
Tears drop from your eyes
And every time you smile
It conceals a thousand lies.

Welcome yourself to hell
