Bled – Merging for all Seasons

Bled is a town in northern Slovenia. Beautifully placed below the Julian Alps at the shores of Lake Bled it has been a popular health and tourist resort for many years.

Sheltered by picturesque mountains, the island reigns in the middle of an Alpine lake. There is no nicer place in Carniola County than this second Eden, full of charm and grace, wrote Slovene poet France Perseren (1800 – 1849).
