BLAME IT ON ME

"Never take on more than you can bare," so was I wrong for trying to fix the relationship, knowing it was already broken, was I the blame?
Blame it on me
The pain and misery
The hurt and the lies
The shouts and the cries

Blame it on me
The reason you fell out of love with me
The infidelity
The separation
And the humiliation

Blame it on me
The secrets that were told
The reason our relationship turned cold
The pretending
And the demanding

Blame it on me
The blood shedding fights
The lonely nights
The wishing you were there to hold me tight
The sneaking out in the middle of the night

OOH NOO… you can’t blame this on me

Blame it on me
For wanting my man to come home
Blame it on me
For trying to make this relationship strong

Blame it on me
For trying to make it work
Blame it on me
For trying to hold on even when it hurt

Blame it on me
For being so blind
Blame it on me
For wasting my time

Blame it on me

This time I’ll give you permission too…
BLAME IT ON ME…
