Black and White

I wish the world was black and white
Because then I think it might
Just make a little more sense
And then my thoughts wouldn't be so dense

Tell me things straight
Give me the whole picture
I don't want to debate
Or write this scripture

I was lost in the gray
And had something to say
A rainbow you sent me
Just what does that mean?

But for some reason you fear
This new feeling I brought
Black and white are the way to stay clear
That's the way I make sense of my thoughts

You thought I was depressed
I just wanted progress
Then you made this a mess
My feelings have regressed
