Bitten Wings Part 8

Well, if it isn't a bloodthirsty vampire...well, why don't you go on and sit down?
I woke restrained. My arms and legs had large leather strips across them, my wings had two strips of chains across them. I was on a large, steal, cold table. A man walked in, and since my eyes were still stinging from the bright lights, I didn't see who walked in. I felt a touch on my left wing, "Beautiful."
Well, if that wasn't just great. The vampire paying me a visit. Just wonderful. My eyes adjusted and I saw a muzzle over my mouth.
"It's to stop you from biting anyone again." he said, walking back into my sight. I noticed he had a chain around his neck. His hair was long, and I noticed his eyes were no long green. They were icy blue. A shiver fell down my back.
"Get away," I said.
"Now, how exactly are you expecting me to leave? You can't do anything in your position right now."
Dang it, why did he have to be right? Nothing was going my way lately.
"What do you want?" I asked, my voice muffled by the muzzle.
He didn't answer, "We're going to examine you so we can find a way to get you human again."
"WHAT!?"
He smiled, but not toothy to show his teeth. "Its quiet strange for you to have angel like wings in your condition and all. Who would've known?"
"You know! You blasted-"
A sudden shock went through my neck, a collar around it high-wired with some chip to shut me up. But I didn't stop, "Has ANYONE noticed his teeth? He's one of them! He's tricking you all!" another shock. "I'VE been fighting for you! I'm on YOUR side! LISTEN to me!" finally a shock strong enough to shut me up went through me. I gasped. Guards ran in, all pointing guns at the man. He sighed, "Look what you've done, Angel. Now what will I do?" he grinned.
Crap, I thought, his teeth glimmering in the light. I looked away, sickening sounds reaching my ears. I heard bodies fall to the ground hard, dead. His hand grabbed my chin. I looked up at him, his icy eyes gleaming. He ripped the bonds off of me, releasing me. I didn't know if I should move. I had no idea what I should do.
"Get up," he growled.
His voice sent my hairs on end, sent chills down my spine, nearly stopped my heart. The icy voice seemed to pierce my soul. I pushed myself up on my elbows and looked away from the scene. I saw my right wing was bleeding. I shot a glance at the man, who ginned, causing me to look away as his teeth were revealed.
"They wanted to know what you were. They took some of your wing's blood to see."
I got to my feet, and looked at the camera. I could see my own tangled black hair, my wing bleeding, but no one else was in the room. Crap. I turned to the vampire to see he had opened the door and was waiting for me.
"What makes you think I'm coming?" I asked, my arms crossed.
He sighed, "I thought you'd say that." he picked up a tazer on the ground, the sleek black steel shimmering in the harsh light. He kept his hand near the trigger, balancing it there on his arm, while he held the door open to me. I sighed, "Not much of a choice."
I walked past him, and he turned his head to me as I passed. I thought he was going to sink his teeth into me right there. But the thing is, he didn't. He pressed the tazer to my back, and lead me down the halls. Guards poured from every door. They held up their guns, switching back to me, then the man behind me. I swallowed hard. I heard the vampire behind of me grunt, the pressure of the gun go away. I turned sharply around, seeing his arms behind his back, three nanos in his flesh shot from the tazers. He looked up at me, his teeth bared, then his eyes closed.
"Come with us." said a feminine voice behind me. I turned around, guards rushing by me to escort him away. The girl stood there, gun in hand, waiting.
"You think I'm just going walk around with you when a vampire just said the same thing?"
The girl sighed, "Boys."
I waved off the men as the walked towards me, "You humans never know how to treat others."
The woman raised and eyebrow at the word 'human'. I walked along with her as she lead me to a hovercar.
"Dang girl, where are we going?" I said.
"An armored facility, so we may question you in peace."
"And let me guess, you haven't noticed that half your blasted guards are vampires, huh?"
The woman frowned at me as I laughed. "Hey, you guys were stupid enough not to notice him, so that wouldn't be too big of a step for you."
The woman gripped my wrist, "Get in the car."
I stepped inside, the door sliding to a close behind me. Well, this was an interesting day, first I 'released' Jean-good riddance-and Drake, then was taken UNWILLINGLY by the human authorities, attacked by a vampire, then, to wrap it all up, was going to be questioned. Dang were these humans stupid, why didn't they realize that I'm on their side? Ugh, whatever.
