A day each year is special to all,
It marks the day of your birth;
It revives memories and recall,
Filling our lives with new mirth.

A birthday is a very special day,
It is steeped with goodies galore;
Celebrated to re-mold the clay,
And watch good friendships soar.

Glad to be a part of all the fun,
Glad to feast on cake and punch ;
Friends gather around loved one,
With ribbon and festoon bunch.

"God bless", "live long and well",
Blessings abound in good cheer;
Enjoy the attention and lucky spell,
Warm blessings year after year.

"Happy Birthday", rings out loud,
Part of a routine modus operandi;
Live up, spread love and be proud.
Of love gained, bumps and candy.
