Joseph Jonas gives the lead vocals for the band 'Jonas Brothers', which is a teen-pop boy band. This pop-punk band members have achieved fame and fortune, having made a name for themselves in pop culture. They have appeared on the covers of many magazines. Joseph was born in Casa Grande, Arizona, but he spent his childhood in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Nicholas is the youngest one in the band, Joseph is the middle one, and Kevin is the oldest one. Joseph has also performed in Broadway shows. The Jonas Brothers band is alike to to McFly, Hanson and Modern Lovers. They are inspired by 'My Chemical Romance', 'Backstreet Boys', 'Weird Al Yankovic' and even 'Queen'.

When Nicholas Jones impressed executives at Columbia, the Jonas Brothers got a contract with the record company. Their first album 'It's About Time' peaked, at number 91 on the Billboard charts. Later, the Jonas Brothers got a contract with Hollywood Records. Their singles 'S.O.S', 'Mandy' and 'Year 3000' were from their second album 'Jonas Brothers' which reached number 5 on the Billboard charts. It was a platinum-selling CD that spawned the 'Look Me In The Eyes' tour. Then they made the 'Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream' reality show and the 'Camp Rock' original movie. Their dance hit 'Burnin' Up' had their bodyguard Big Rob also rapping to their tune. It was a part of their third album ''A Little Bit Longer', which was number 1 on Billboard charts. The 12 songs in it had influences of reggae, rhythm, blues and soul. The albums had rockers and power ballads, and had acoustic guitars, strings and pianos in the background. Then they went on the 'Burnin' Up' tour, in which they performed on stage.

The Jonas Brothers then appeared on the 'Meet The Robinsons' soundtrack and made the 'Music from the 3D Concert Experience' documentary. They are also planning to create the 'J.O.N.A.S.' comedy series. Their fourth album is 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times'. The band is an international hit.

The Jonas Brothers performed for the President George W. Bush. Joseph made a video for Beyonce Knowles's 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)', wearing a cat suit and high heels. Joseph Jonas plays the guitar, keyboards and tambourine, a percussion instrument. Joseph's brother, Nicholas, has diabetes. Joseph was part of a church choir. He wears a Christian purity ring, like his brothers, Nicholas and Kevin, that indicates that he plans to abstain until marriage. His youngest brother Frankie, is not part of the band. He started being home-schooled from seventh grade.

Joseph wanted to be a comedian when he grows up. He is, by birth a Leo while his favorite band is 'Slipknot'. His favorite singer and actor is Johnny Lang and Will Ferell respectively. His favorite actresses are Natalie Portman and Aishwarya Rai. His favorite movies are 'School for Scoundrels' and 'Dumb and Dumber'. His most favored author is Dr. Seuss, and his favorite book is 'Wrinkle In Time'. His adores the color blue. His favorite drink is 'Gatorade', though he can always skip it for a visit to 'Rita's Italian Ices' ice-cream parlor. His favorite food is chicken cutlet sandwich with mayonnaise, snow cones, and his grandma's homemade pizza.

Joesph has dated country singer Taylor Swift and is known to have broken up with her in a 27-second phone call. Swift's album 'Fearless' outsold Joseph's 'A Little Bit Longer'. Joseph made a song 'Paranoid' about Taylor Swift, in response to Taylor Swift's song 'Forever and Always' about Joseph. Joseph likes Spanish music and has a crush on Daniel Craig.
