Bigfoot's Revenge Or My Real Name Is Yedi

High on a tall mountain not far from here
Where we hunters shot and drank root beer
Lived a race so meek and humble
That upon him we hunters didn’t stumble

But now and then in the dark of night
Our hunters' eyes would fill with fright
When out of shadows there appears
A huge, furry man, but with no ears

The furry man had enormous feet
He was huge and smelled like a dirty sheet
But hunters’ bullets are big like a shot put
So we’d laugh and point and call him Bigfoot

"He’s got no ears, he’s got big feet!"
We’d yell at him in a reggae beat
This made Bigfoot feel so sad
He’d walk away, feeling low and bad

Then one black night, the blizzard came
It trapped we hunters and left us lame
Our fire went out and our food was gone
We were truly all alone

"What can we do, we’ll starve to death?
Or be frozen by this blizzard’s breath
Our ears are blue and we can’t go
With our lame little feet in all this snow"

Bigfoot lingered, not far away
He heard every word we’d say
He said, "my ears aren’t frozen and I have big feet
What does it matter if I smell like dirty sheet?

I could help these little twerps
Even though they act like jerks"
So he scooped us up in his huge arms
And carried us down where there were farms

Where it was warmer and we hunters could
Get out of the cold and eat something good
He set us down, then turned to leave
When he felt a humble tug, on his sleeve

It was I, the chief hunter who, in tears
Said "we are so sorry for our fears
We were so afraid of you
That we called you names that aren’t true

You saved us from a death so painful
Now we will be forever grateful
You are big but not a fright
How can we ever make things right?"

Just tell your hunter friends that we
Are not so bad, so just let us be
By the way, my name isn't Bigfoot, it's Yedi
Pleased to meet you I said, mine is Teddy

So that is how we came to be
Such fast friends with all Yedi
They are such a gentle race
And when we meet, we now embrace
