Big Brother Producers Evict Chima from House
In a relatively rare piece of reality television drama, Big Brother producers decided to evict a house guest from the show for allegedly breaking show rules.
We'll all have to watch and wait to find out exactly what Chima Simone did to get herself kicked off the 11th season of CBS' Big Brother. In the last few weeks, Chima and her alliance had been riding high, but it was clear that Chima was a wild card and probably the most volatile character on the show. In addition to some fairly inflammatory comments during the course of the show, Chima also had a major face-to-face confrontation with Russel, one of the show's resident hot heads.
Things seem to come to a head for Chima when one of the show's infamous twists virtually took away her power as Head of Household and allowed another player to determine who would be voted off the show at the end of last week's Thursday night episode. As a result of the twist, Chima's alliance was broken down and she would have been forced to re-align herself in order to stay on the show.
As that episode ended, Chima stated that she was going to have a little talk with the producers about the turn of events, but it is unclear whether that had anything to do with her eventual dismissal from the show. In a recent episode, cameras rolled as Chima's grandparents watched her antics on the show and captured their displeasure with their granddaughter's behavior.
Given reality TV's obsession with contrived drama, you have to assumed that the producers will find a way not only to hype Chima's dismissal, but also to tease viewers with the possibility that she may return later in one of the "biggest twists in Big Brother history!!!" Where have you heard that one before?
