Be Fast

Once long ago, I saw you staring at the ground.
The first thing I wondered was how life could possible have you glaring.
I saw it in myself to try and give you anything, but what's been shown to you through sin.
Slowly I expressed to you that I would take care and interest
No matter the side effect, even if I were not impressed,
I vowed to ease some of the things that keep you stressed.

Behind that crouched figure, I could see strength, The mightiest signature.
With low expectations of the world, Your surviving on something so miniature.
Within you, I can see the one thing that comes rarely, hidden in a few.
Unique, Genuine, Pure, Something I'll never fear.
Like the grinch, you vow a heart no larger than an inch.
But like an airborne finch
I see the diameter stretch out to fetch those who deserve your plight.

And so I fight, to be categorized into that light.
Regards to you for such inspiration, Each day you leave me in deep admiration.
To express such selflessness, even when I feel your soul is screaming "help with this",
You stand your ground, and bite down without a sound.
After a time, I was given the image of what brought you to grimace.
After that realization, I made it my goal to try and improve each day
In whatever way I may; Whether it be a smile, or a laugh,

You deserve each momentarily altered state of mind, on my behalf.
After such hard times, you've come so far.
Every day you find a way to stay on par.
Now, I wish for you to see my plee;
Be what you want to be, Set yourself free.
